Nominate a Student for the 2025 Outstanding Future Alumni Award

The Office of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving is now for the 2025 Outstanding Future Alumni Award.

Leondra Tyler ’24 was the inaugural honoree of the Outstanding Future Alumni Award in 2024.

This prestigious honor recognizes a current student who exemplifies exceptional commitment to both the campus and local community through leadership, service and involvement beyond the classroom. The selected student has exactly what the Â鶹ƵµÀUniversity Alumni Association envisions as a strong future graduate and representative of Â鶹ƵµÀUniversity and what it means to be Forever Orange.

The award, presented alongside several other alumni honors, will be conferred during the Â鶹ƵµÀUniversity Alumni Awards Celebration on Friday, April 4, 2025.

2024’s inaugural honoree, Leondra Tyler ’24, displayed exceptional involvement on and off the Â鶹ƵµÀUniversity campus as a McNair Scholar, Our Time Has Come Scholar and Remembrance Scholar. Tyler graduated cum laude with dual degrees in neuroscience and psychology through the Part-Time Higher Education Opportunity Program. In addition to participating in several research projects on campus, ​​including a Â鶹ƵµÀOffice of Undergraduate Research and Creative Engagement (SOURCE) research fellowship, she was also recognized for her work as a passionate leader with the Hendricks Chapel Food Pantry.

The nomination form is open until Jan. 31, 2025, and anyone can .

Registration for the annual awards ceremony, which is free and open to the entire Â鶹ƵµÀUniversity community, will open next month.
