  Are all classes going to be in person?

  If you registered for a class that was designated as in person in the course catalog, it’s in person. If you signed up for an online course, it’s online. Individuals with compromised immune systems should contact the Center for Disability Resources to seek an accommodation.

  What are the current mask rules?

  The current masking level on campus is RED. Masks must be worn indoors at all times and outdoors when in the presence of others. Surgical masks, KN95 and/or N95 masks are strongly encouraged.

  If you have tested positive in the last 90 days, do you have to do arrival testing?

  If you have previously tested positive within 90 days of your arrival to campus and have completed your isolation period, you are exempt from the pre-arrival testing requirement. Be sure to submit documentation of your prior positive status to the .

  Where can arrival COVID tests be done if you live off campus and what times are they open?

  Arrival tests will be done at the Stadium Testing Center between Jan. 17-25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

  Are at-home COVID tests acceptable for pre-arrival testing?

  The pre-arrival testing options are either a PCR test taken within 72 hours of your arrival to the Â鶹ƵµÀarea or an antigen or at-home test taken immediately before travel to the Â鶹ƵµÀarea.

  Is the booster shot required before getting back on campus?

  For North Campus residents, students moving into a residence hall must have received their required COVID-19 booster (if eligible) or an approved exemption prior to arriving. For students living on South Campus or off campus, you need to have received the booster (if eligible) or have an approved exemption by Monday, Jan. 24.

  If I live on North Campus, where is my check-in?

  Check-in will take place at the Ensley Athletic Center between Jan. 21-23 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. You should check in at Ensley prior to going to your residence hall.

  What are the rules for students who have yet to become eligible for their booster?

  If you are not yet eligible to receive a booster by Jan. 24, you will be required to receive a booster shot during the academic semester, within one week of becoming eligible.

  Can other students that go to SU visit dorms as guests?

  You may have other Â鶹ƵµÀUniversity students in your residence hall and/or South Campus apartment. However, external guests are not permitted into residential facilities at this time. New, incoming spring 2022 students will be allowed one guest to help them with move-in.

  Can I still move into my residence hall if I arrive past 8 p.m.?

  If you are unable to arrive between Jan. 21-23 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., please go directly to your residence hall to have your pre-arrival and testing requirements verified. Late arrivals will be required to participate in arrival testing the following day.

  Do international students have to get tested if they come to Â鶹ƵµÀwith a negative rapid test from home?

  For international students, your travel testing will be accepted as pre-arrival testing if you arrive in Â鶹ƵµÀwithin three days of U.S. entry. If you arrive in another domestic location before traveling to Syracuse, you will need to obtain an additional pre-arrival test.

  How do I submit proof of my booster shot?

  There are two parts to submitting records—recording the date of your booster vaccine and uploading proof of your booster vaccine. Upload your information to the prior to your arrival.
