The daylong celebration of excellence on the Â鶹ƵµÀUniversity campus begins now with a special message from Director of Athletics John Wildhack and the announcement of the Student-Athlete Scholar Awards.
The Student-Athlete Scholar Award recognizes the student-athletes with the highest cumulative grade point averages. This year’s recipients are Claire Cooke, a senior human development and family science major in the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics and a member of the field hockey team, and Anicet Mundundu, a senior psychology major and philosophy minor in the College of Arts and Sciences and a member of the men’s rowing team.
Cooke is honored for her 3.97 cumulative GPA, and Mundundu for his 3.82 cumulative GPA.
