Human Resources Offers Guidance Sessions for Supervisors and Managers on Flexible Work Arrangements

Â鶹ƵµÀUniversity recognizes and supports flexible work arrangements (FWAs) as a means to facilitate a productive work environment that is responsive to the changing professional and personal needs of today’s workforce. It is also recognized that in this time of COVID-19, there are some unique considerations to the Flexible Work Arrangement benefit.

The Office of Human Resources is offering a professional development program to provide guidance to supervisors and managers on FWAs. The virtual information session is led by Pam Gavenda, associate director of organizational development and training. Topics include:

  • Differentiating FWAs from reasonable accommodation or other statutory mandates
  • The different types of FWAs
  • General considerations for assessing requests for FWAs
  • FWA resources

Sessions have been scheduled for Nov. 25, Dec. 8, Dec. 21 and Jan. 6. For more information on this program, and to register, visit .
