Health and Wellness Services During Finals Week and Winter Break

Barnes Center at The Arch

Through the final days of the semester and winter break, the Barnes Center at The Arch health and wellness services and resources will operate on limited schedules, including some closures. Please refer to the and details. All standard hours will resume on Monday, Jan. 13.

Even when off campus, Â鶹ƵµÀUniversity students experiencing a mental health crisis, seeking support for sexual assault or relationship violence, or needing medical consultation can receive free confidential services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by calling 315.443.8000.

Recreation

Schedule changes for Barnes Center and satellite recreation centers begin Saturday, Dec. 7, and last through Sunday, Jan. 12. Some closings begin Friday, Dec. 13, but vary by location and date throughout winter break. Please explore the and recreation times for additional details. Barnes Center at The Arch Recreation will be closed for maintenance Monday, Dec. 16, through Wednesday, Jan. 1.  Sibley Pool will be open to the campus community from Monday, Dec. 16, through Friday, Dec. 20.

Counseling, Health Care and Pharmacy

Saturday, Dec. 7, will be the final weekend availability for in-person health care, counseling and pharmacy services. Weekend hours will resume Saturday, Jan. 11. Monday, Dec. 9, marks the first day of no evening hours after 5 p.m.

Starting Monday, Dec. 9, students will have access to services Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Faculty and staff will have access to the pharmacy. Counseling, health care and the pharmacy will be closed Monday, Dec. 23, through Wednesday, Jan. 1. Weekday services will resume on Thursday, Jan. 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Standard hours will commence Monday, Jan. 13.

Health Promotion

The Walters Pet Therapy Room will have standard hours until Thursday, Dec. 12, with the addition of today (Friday, Dec. 6) from noon to 2 p.m. and Friday, Dec. 13, from 1 to 3 p.m. The Walters Pet Therapy Room will be closed during break.

The Meditation Room will have standard hours until Friday, Dec. 13. The Crowley Family MindSpa will be open Monday, Dec. 9, through Friday, Dec. 13, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Both will be closed throughout break. Health Promotion staff will operate on University hours, closing Monday, Dec. 23, through Wednesday, Jan. 1, resuming standard hours Thursday, Jan. 2.
