An on-campus pharmacy has always been available to students, but over the summer it joined other health and wellness services within the newly constructed . The new full-service pharmacy is now in an accessible and centralized space on campus and available to students, faculty and staff.

“We work to make the pharmacy an integrated service, helping to bolster students in their health and wellness journeys,” says Michele Frontale, supervising pharmacist. “We’re here to help students in their unique pursuit of wellness. If there is anything we can do, we will go above and beyond to help.”

Extended Hours
The pharmacy is now open seven days a week with to accommodate busy student schedules.

Integrated Care

The pharmacy can fill prescription requests from internal Barnes Center at The Arch and external licensed health care providers. If a student receives a prescription from a Barnes Center at The Arch health care provider, the prescription is sent digitally to the pharmacy.

To pick up a prescription, individuals must have their insurance information. The and most third-party insurance plans are accepted.

Personalized Retail Space
The retail space is stocked with a wide variety of health and wellness items, including herbal teas, over-the-counter medications, toothbrushes, resources and more. Additionally, a new customizable service is now available to students. If a student doesn’t see a needed product or medication, the pharmacy is happy to place an order for the requested item. Requests may be made in-person, by emailing pharmacy@syr.edu or by calling 315.443.8000.
