Margaret Susan Thompson, a Maxwell professor of history and political science, recently wrote an article for the Global Sisters Report that detailed her outsider experience of spending time with different motherhouses. Her story also dives into the idea of an outsider learning, and teaching others, about the lives of these devoted nuns, and how their experiences, and lives, differ from those on the outside.
