Dietitian Tanya Zuckerbrot to Speak Today at Falk College

Tanya Zuckerbrot will speak on April 9 at 6 p.m., in Falk 100, with a reception taking place starting at 5 p.m. She will speak to the audience about her renowned F-Factor Diet, the only dietitian-created program for weight loss that is based on fiber-rich nutrition that has been scientifically proven to optimize health.

Sponsored by ’s Nutrition Education and Promotion Association (NEPA), a student-run organization that brings together Â鶹ƵµÀUniversity students interested in nutrition and encourages them to share that interest with the surrounding campus and community, the event is free and open to the public. It will be of particular interest to those with a desire to learn more about health and wellness and anybody who is interested in trying Zuckerbrot’s program.

Zuckerbrot holds a master’s degree in nutrition and food studies from New York University and completed a two-year dietetic internship at NYU Medical Center. She is an accredited member of the American Dietetic Association, the Greater New York Dietetic Association, and a member of the National Association of Professional Women. Tanya completed her CDR Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management as well as her CDR Certificate of Training in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management.

Through her research and education, Zuckerbrot wrote two bestselling weight loss books: “The F-Factor Diet: Discover the Secret to Permanent Weight Loss” (G.P Putnam & Sons, 2006) and “The Miracle Carb Diet: Make Calories and Fat Disappear—with Fiber!” (2012, Hyperion). When she is not working with clients, she works as a lecturer, consultant, spokesperson and national media personality. She has appeared on national TV programs such as “NBC Today,” “CBS News,” “Live with Kelly,”” Good Morning America,” and more. She is also an editorial advisor to Women’s Health magazine and the official dietitian to the Miss Universe Organization.
