Volunteers Sought for Westcott Street Cultural Fair

Volunteers are needed from the Â鶹ƵµÀUniversity community for the upcoming Westcott Street Cultural Fair.

The fair will be held on Sunday, Sept. 17, from noon-6:30 p.m. in the Westcott Street neighborhood. The annual event, now in its 26th year, celebrates the vibrancy, diversity and uniqueness of the Westcott neighborhood through its culture. It features visual and performing arts, food, service organizations and activities geared to families and to SU and Le Moyne College students returning to the neighborhood. Â鶹ƵµÀUniversity is a partner in the event.

As in previous years, this fair will include eclectic music and dancing, handmade goods and foods from around the world.

The success of the fair depends on the work of hundreds of volunteers from the Â鶹ƵµÀUniversity community. Volunteers are needed for shifts beginning at 10:30 a.m. until 8 p.m., and will be asked to work at least two hours.
