Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand
Friday, July 14, at 5 p.m., U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand will host a town hall at Â鶹ƵµÀUniversity. Gillibrand will take questions from constituents on issues ranging from health care to jobs and the economy. This event will be the first of several town halls Gillibrand will host around New York State as part of her commitment to visiting all 62 counties and hearing from as many New Yorkers as possible.
The town hall, to be held in Goldstein Auditorium in Schine Student Center, will be facilitated by Bea Gonzalez, vice president for community engagement and special assistant to the chancellor. All are welcome to come, but an RSVP is necessary to enter. Members of the public can also RSVP on the day of the event when they arrive, but space is limited and they are encouraged to RSVP in advance.
American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) will be provided at the town hall event.
