Information Technology Services (ITS), through its Online Learning Services unit, University College, and the Office of Faculty Affairs at Â鶹ƵµÀUniversity announce the 2017 Summer Institute for Technology-enhanced Teaching and Learning (SITETL). Offered twice in separate, weeklong sessions, SITETL will be held May 22-26 and again on June 5-9.
SITETL is an intense program for faculty members who wish to incorporate technology in their face-to-face course or move a significant component of their course online. This unique event will offer presentations and hands-on workshops involving current topics and technologies, as well as strategies and pedagogies to support online teaching and learning. Participants will work alongside colleagues from a variety of disciplines as they develop skills and design content for their courses. Instructors will learn about a variety of technologies with a focus on enhancing instruction for students. Sessions will include presentations, panel discussions and hands-on lab time.
Each session is limited to 15 participants selected through a competitive application process. The application deadline is Friday, April 14, 2017.
