From the guitarist you saw at Funk ’N Waffles to the girl you sit next to every day in Writing 205, Â鶹ƵµÀUniversity is full of musical talent, well-known and unknown. For the eighth consecutive year, the SU Songwriter Showcase will give you a taste of some of the university hill’s most gifted songwriters and performers.
Twelve performers will take the stage on Friday evening, Dec. 4, to share their songs with you. Ranging from bedroom folk to Chinese piano pop and everything in between, the diversity and originality of each performer is as surprising as it is impressive.
The eighth annual SU Songwriter Showcase will take place in the Panasci Lounge in the Schine Student Center. The music starts at 8 p.m. and admission is free.
This year’s performers include Basket(s), Julia Newman, PJ Walshe, Lewis & Clark, Zach Schweikert, Alexandra Moniqué, Logan Piercey, Jason McGill, Kevin Crowell, Eva Cassandra, Exits and Ariel.
