The lecture, which is free and open to the University community, will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the Lender Auditorium (Room 007), located on the concourse level of the Martin J. Whitman School of Management. It is presented as part of the Bandier Program’s Soyars Leadership Lecture Series.

Rudolph was born in the Bronx, New York, and grew up in New York City. He attended the University at Buffalo, from which he was graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Later, he attended the Hofstra School of Law, from which he graduated with honors.

In 1992, Rudolph founded the entertainment law firm of Rudolph & Beer, which quickly became one of the pre-eminent entertainment law firms on the East Coast, with many high-profile clients, including the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Nick Lachey and 98 Degrees, Jessica Simpson, O-Town, DMX, Raekwon, Ghostface Killa, Rakim and the Sugar Hill Gang, to name a few. In 1995, Rudolph discovered Britney Spears at the age of 13 and established ReignDeer Management, through which he has managed Spears through the majority of her career. Rudolph also currently manages the careers of Miley Cyrus, Avril Lavigne, Steven Tyler/Aerosmith, Nicole Scherzinger and others.

In the areas of film and television, Rudolph has produced the feature film “Crossroads” and various television events and series such as “Britney Spears Live from Las Vegas” (HBO, 2001); “In the Zone (Showtime, 2003); “The Newlyweds; Nick and Jessica” (MTV, 2003); Ashley Parker Angel’s “There and Back” (MTV, 2005); “Rock the Cradle” (MTV, 2007); “Britney Spears: For the Record” (MTV, 2008); “Miley Cyrus: The Movement” (MTV, 2013); and “Britney Spears: I Am Britney Jean,” (E! Entertainment, 2013).
