The 鶹ƵUniversity campus community is invited to the third listening meeting scheduled for Monday, Oct. 27, from 4-5:30 p.m. in 304 Schine. The series of listening meetings were initiated following the integration and alignment of the Advocacy Center with the Counseling Center and the offices of Student Assistance and Health Promotion.
Senior Vice President and Dean of Student Affairs Rebecca Reed Kantrowitz, in consultation with the Chancellor’s Workgroup on Sexual Assault Prevention, Education and Advocacy, encourages attendees to come to the meeting with the workgroup’s two charges in mind:
“The concerns and ideas shared during this meeting around gaps in services and changing campus and community culture can provide immense value to the workgroup and our University as a whole,” says Kantrowitz.
“Members of the workgroup are looking forward to attending this listening meeting and hearing the concerns raised by the attendees,” say Chase Catalano and Dawn Johnson, co-chairs of the workgroup. “We believe this listening meeting can provide a great opportunity to gain broader campus insight about gaps that may exist in the system and what we need to do to change campus culture.”
The meeting will be facilitated by the ’s Program for the Advancement of Research on Conflict and Collaboration (PARCC).
Previous listening meetings were held on June 23 and July 30. For meeting notes, additional information on sexual assault services and information on the realignment, visit .
