Students in the communications design course “Design Project Management” work on design solutions for the Delphic Games.

The Delphic Games are a series of events in which cultures come together through artistic expression and compete in various artistic competitions.

Teams from the Design Project Management class are divided into advertising, public relations, graphic design and motion graphics; these third-year design students are taking on this extensive project and producing a variety of design solutions in 15 weeks.

Heading the efforts of this junior class are Roderick Martinez and William Padgett. Acting as CEOs, the professors guide these students to produce professional-quality work and present as if they were in a real-life business setting.

The group will host its final presentation Friday, April 18, at 10 a.m. at the Nancy Cantor Warehouse Auditorium. A roundtable discussion will follow the presentation.

The legacy of this award-winning class has reached a new height in relation to scholarship in action by taking on an international client. The opportunity given to this program through working with the Delphics expands far past the Nancy Cantor Warehouse walls and is promoting the City of Â鶹ƵµÀto a worldwide audience.

With categories ranging from performing arts, visual, and social arts to cooking and lingual arts, the Delphics cover a range of expressive, culture-related events that encapsulate each participating country’s traditions. Learn more at .
