Pat Druger
Patricia Meyers Druger G’74, a former administrator in The College of Arts and Sciences, passed away on Jan. 19 at Francis House. She was 75.
She was an administrator for the introductory biology course and academic coordinator in the Writing Program for many years.
She was married to Marvin Druger, professor emeritus of science education in A&S, for 56 years. She was a devoted mother of three children: Lauren (Brian), Robert (Suzanne) and James (Elizabeth), and grandmother of seven: Keith, Lindsay, Aaron, Joshua, Rachel, Gabrielle and Teagan.
Druger was a talented quilter and seamstress, and a donator to many charities. She did volunteer work as a docent at the Erie Canal Museum, and was a tax consultant for AARP. She was a member of the board of the Friends of Jowonio preschool, and an active member of the Women of the University Community. The Drugers established the Marvin Druger Recognition Fund in The College of Arts and Sciences.
A celebration of her life will be held at Hendricks Chapel on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 5 p.m. A gathering will follow in the Heroy Lobby. All those who knew and cared for her are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jowonio or the Erie Canal Museum.
