Phil Sarna, managing director of PS Business Management, LLC, will present a lecture on Tuesday, March 1, at 6:45 p.m. in the Lender Auditorium, located on the concourse level of the Martin J. Whitman School of Management. The lecture is part of the Bandier Program’s Soyars Leadership Lecture Series in the ‘ (VPA) Rose, Jules R. and Stanford S. Setnor School of Music. It is open to the University community.

Sarna has been a successful business manager for approximately 20 years. After graduating from New York University’s Stern School of Business with degrees in accounting and economics, he went on to work at several large and prestigious New York City accounting firms. In 1993, he set his sights on the music business and began his business management career at Provident Financial management, one of the largest and most successful business management firms.

Sarna left Provident Financial nearly 10 years later as the managing director of its New York City office to start PS Business Management, LLC. PS Business Management offers its unique brand of business management by providing emerging artists with the business acumen to navigate both the normal challenges of running a business and the complexities of the new business models facing musicians today.

For more information about the lecture, contact David Rezak, director of the Bandier Program, at (315) 443-3280 or dmrezak@syr.edu.
