Local Entrepreneurs Invite Community to Sample Products at Showcase

A local entrepreneur highlights his products at a previous showcase.

The (SSIC) will host a product showcase where community members can view and sample new and unique food and retail products created by its tenants and clients.

The event will take place March 1 from 1-5 p.m. at the SSIC, 2610 S. Salina St., in downtown Syracuse. It is free and open to the public.

Entrepreneurs will provide samples of their food products, promote and sell their handmade crafts, and showcase their brands.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for the 鶹Ƶcommunity to support local and aspiring entrepreneurs who want to bring their unique products to the CNY area,” says El-Java Abdul-Qadir, manager of the SSIC. “If you’re interested in supporting the local economy and discovering new products and businesses, we encourage you to stop by and support our mission of local vitality.”

The SSIC was created by the nationally ranked Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises Program at the . Launched in April 2006, SSIC is a business incubator that fosters the creation of new ventures and helps to make existing ones sustainable.
