Â鶹ƵµÀUniversity’s endowment funds had positive investment return of 17.2 percent in 2009-10

Â鶹ƵµÀUniversity’s long-term invested endowment funds returned 17.2 percent in fiscal year 2009-10, outperforming a number of peer institutions and making significant gains after the effects of the 18-month long global economic crisis.

As a result of this investment performance, gifts to the endowment, and the transfer of the University’s long-term fixed income investments during the fiscal year, the total market value of the University’s endowment increased by 29 percent to $849.2 million.
