A variety of volunteer times are available for staff and faculty starting Tuesday, Aug. 24, through Thursday, Aug. 26. Those interested in volunteering are asked to complete the .

“Along with the entire 鶹ƵUniversity community, we are thrilled to welcome new students to campus with a traditional 鶹ƵWelcome experience,” says Carrie Grogan Abbott, director of FYTP. “Through the support of volunteers and cross-campus partners, we can continue the tradition of welcoming our next class of students and enhancing their experience through 鶹ƵWelcome.”

Volunteers will also be a part of the , an initiative that provides the Class of 2024 with an opportunity to experience traditional 鶹ƵWelcome events. Through this program, students can register to attend events throughout the week of Aug. 23. “We are thrilled with the number of rising sophomores who have registered to participate in Sophomore Welcome Back,” says Abbott. “The program offers a wonderful opportunity for students to not only participate in signature 鶹ƵUniversity traditions, but also make new connections.”

As the launch of the 鶹ƵUniversity student experience,  is the required new student orientation program. To aid students in their pursuit of success, 鶹ƵWelcome encompasses academic and social programs in addition to traditions unique to the University.
